
Patient empowerment, Personalization and Adherence
We tackle patient empowerment by embedding Persuasive Design model concepts into digital solutions, including personalization. To achieve this, novel data science methods have been developed to obtain, starting from opportunely developed web-questionnaires based on the problem and the population to be studied, Personas definitions. From such user profiles, in collaboration with a team of psychologists at Università degli Studi Milano, specific messages and strategies are designed to help in changing and maintaining new behaviour towards better lifestyle. Such solutions can be delivered via web platforms, smartphones, wearables, and be applied for both primari, secondary, and tertiary prevention, as well as during clinical trials, con il progetto di ricerca finalizzata “IntakeCare”, è in via di sviluppo una piattaforma per l’aumento della aderenza terapeutica basata su dispositivo di voice (Alexa), che verrà testate in un RCT presso l’IRCCS Auxologico San Luca con 200 pazienti ipertesi coinvolti.
